S&M Pitchfork 26"

Posted: May 19, 2009

We’ve been getting quite a few requests for a 26” version of the S&M Pitchfork, so we went ahead and did a full production run of them. Right now it really is just a longer version of our BMX fork, so the dropouts are 3/8” only, and brake mounts are only available as a custom option.

Have a look inside to see it better and let us know what you think:

So...it's just a Black Market rigid fork with S&M logos on it, then? I realize S&M owns Black Market, but seriously guys, how stupid do we look?

Well yeah, they helped Carter financially from what I read in a statement, but parted ways. They also made stuff too...

All I know is that I had to call S&M a few years ago in order to get any information about Black Market frame specs (headset compatibility, seatpost size, etc).

kinda like FIT bmx when it started, moller helped morales set up fit an does the distro (thats what i read anyway?)
i should think the contraband used the pitch fork desighn in a 26" length wich is why they look the same (cos they are)
i reckon blkmrkt have gone to the far east for cheaper mass production with no drop in quality
blkmrkt where made in the s&m factory(i've seen photos of the two companys frames sittin beside eachover waitin to be finished) an s&m did distro wich is why you had to contact them
i think LOL

so wrong...Contraband was made by S&M for BlackMarket. Seems that they had some problems and they part ways...

i think id rather stick with my rebates tbh!
Ive seen smooth riders crack the dropouts on the 24" pitchforks, so can only see it happening on these.

These forks are the exact same as the contrabands. Looking at them side by side you can not tell the difference besides the stickers. I think this gives S&M a leg up on the competition because they are made in the USA. Contrabands are now being made in Taiwan. Hopefully this paves the way for S&Ms own 26". I know I will have one.

Why so much people are already talking sh*t about the fork, if the frok is the blackmarket contraband? The difference is that, s&m was the company making stuff for blkmrkt, now that they are no longer working together, s&m continues to make the contraband, but with other stickers.. People were running the contraband with no problems, so i think there will be no problems with this (the same fork lol) either..

oh whait because of the sticker is a completly different fork, so much weaker...................... not... lol

oh and sorry my english

All these 26" forks are just extended versions of BMX forks. The NS and BlkMrkt forks have had breakage issues. If you want a bombproof ridgid 26" fork check out the Dobermann Tchoker.

Anything and everything that comes in white is better than a similar or exact product that is not produced in said color. White is the best color you could ever sport. Period. White rimmed sunglasses are an exemplary example. I'm glad I bought a white table from Urban Barn.

It still has race drop outs that'll snap off though. It doesnt matter what the warrenty on that shit is, im not risking my face just to save .00002 lbs off the front end of my bike, ive given up hoping for someone to make a better fork than rebates.
